Nutella-Stuffed Halloween Poptarts: A Fun & Festive Family Treat

Looking for a spooky-sweet treat to make this Halloween? These Nutella-Stuffed Halloween Poptarts are the perfect festive dessert, and they’re so easy to make with just a few ingredients! Plus, it’s a great way to get the kids involved in the kitchen.

Ingredients:

  •  1 package Pillsbury ready-made pie crust
  •  Nutella
  •  1 egg (for brushing)
  •  3 tablespoons powdered sugar
  •  A splash of milk
  •  Food coloring (any color you like, make it fun!)
  •  Candy eyes
  •  Black writing icing

Directions:

  1. Start by rolling out the Pillsbury pie crust. Use ghost and pumpkin cookie cutters to create your spooky shapes.
  2. Spread a spoonful of Nutella onto one shape, then cover with another piece of dough, pressing the edges with a fork to seal.
  3. Brush each pop tart with a beaten egg for that golden-brown finish.
  4. Bake at 375°F for about 12-15 minutes, or until golden and crisp.
6. Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about 2/3 full.
7. Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean.
8. Allow the muffins to cool in the tin for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

While the pop tarts are cooling, mix powdered sugar and a splash of milk to create your icing. Divide it into separate bowls for each color.

Now, let the kids have fun decorating! Drizzle on the icing, add candy eyes, draw on spooky or silly faces with the writing icing and watch their faces light up as their spooky creations come to life!

These Nutella-Stuffed Halloween Poptarts are not only delicious but also a fun activity for the whole family. Happy Halloween and enjoy the sweet, spooky fun!
